Professional Partners
Part of the organisations uniqueness is its commitment to building Parent-Professional partnerships
Partnerships are parents and professionals working together in mutual recognition of their different and complementary skills, build partnerships that strengthen each other’s capacities. These partnerships have over the last nine years, contributed to the building of mutually supportive relationships.
Partnerships occur through training activities, and in a number of other ways that sees partners being a resource for each other. In most cases a Local Network will have a professional who assists the coordinator in the facilitation of the Assertion and Communication Skills training in their local community.
Partners may also assist with some planning activities, including P.A.T.H. and People Planning Together.
